  He is a Royal Air Force ex-serviceman who later went on to become a flight instructor in the USA.
 His skills also include that of having been an aviation engineer with Pan Am on Boeing and Douglas aircraft in California, and he has also written some poetry.
  He has suffered some considerable difficulties with the authorities because of some of his writings.
He takes the view that if he is not persecuted for his beliefs - then he must be on the wrong track!
