By Major C.H. Douglas
This booklet is about land husbandry, land taxation and land ownership. It was first published in The Social Creditor journal between December 1942 and March 1943.
Like everything from Major Douglas the role of high finance and banking are always of discussed. Here he argues that the best stewardship of the land, in non urban areas, is when it is in the hands of private owners. He was against the nationalisation of land, and also notes with dismay the way in which taxation and rates and other costs drive the small farmer into the hands of the banks.
Major Douglas is aware of the various conspiracy theories but appears to have an open mind regarding them. This does him credit, but he is certainly not reticent in regards to mentioning the influence of Masonry and "One World" pseudo communist "Planners".
