This booklet is about banking and how, when a bank makes a loan, or allows you to run up an overdraft, it does not part with a single penny. By punching a few keys on a computer it brings into existence a sum of money which did not previously exist. This is usually credited to a person's account, who writes out cheques to withdraw the money. The money has to be paid back with interest in real money. That is money that has to be laboured and toiled for.
Their are plenty of quotes from famous people regarding the banking system and one from Josiah Stamp, a Bank of England Director who said:

"If you take away everything from the banks, but leave them the power of creating credit, with the flick of a pen, they would create enough money to buy it back again. "

Interestingly he brings forward for consideration the conspiracy theory that Presidents Lincoln and Kennedy were both assassinated because they introduced debt free money. That is Lincoln's greenbacks and the 4 billion US$ that President J.F.Kennedy introduced that by-passed the Federal Reserve..
