An alternative to private capitalism and the state bureaucracy of Communism. Syndicalism was partly based on Guild Socialism in which workers were represented in the managemnt of large companies and corporations. Working conditions, apprenticeship schemes, representation in government and profit sharing were all to be part of a new system.
