By Oswald Mosley A full reprint of the 1938 book outlining British Union policy. Contents include : Foreword by Oswald Mosley System Of Government What Is Wrong? British Union System Of Government British Union Economic System, The People's State A Classless System The Jewish Question British Foreign Policy This book is essential reading for any examination of the pre-war Blackshirt movement. Mosley begins by saying that the essence of real democracy is that the will of the majority should be carried out. He goes on to say that this is not how the system, called democracy, actually works. Mosley says that with over 600 Members of Parliament, half of whom are trying to stop the government from doing what the people have voted for, the system is paralyzed by a system of talk, which prevents any real action. In such circumstances, Mosley claims that real power therefore rests elsewhere, namely with the power of money. That financial power of course controls the mass media. Consquently voters are misled and deliberately confused.
