The author was a supporter of Oswald Mosley and the BUF. He was a serious advocate of organic farming and he wrote several books on the subject. After the war he continued through Mosley's Union Movement and The Soil Association to promulgate his ideas.
He also met theGerman National Socialist Food Estate Leader - Reich Minister Walter Darre with whom he shared many similar ideas.He has a fairly extensive entry in Wikipedia.
